Amanda Wilson, M.S.R.S., is Strategic Engagement & Project Manager with Active Living Research and has over a decade of experience collaborating with researchers and diverse stakeholders to create healthier communities through evidence-based strategies. She excels at managing multiple projects simultaneously, has provided technical assistance to over 100 grantees, and plays a lead role in the development and execution of the ALR annual conference, which convenes up to 350 researchers, advocates and policymakers from a wide variety of disciplines to present and learn the latest advancements on environmental and policy issues related to physical activity. Amanda has Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism management and often connects with partners within this sector to promote the health and co-benefits of parks, trails and play spaces. She is also an advocate in her own community for safer bicycling and pedestrian facilities and rides her commuter-equipped Masi bike to work daily.
