David Bann, UCL, UK
David Bann, is a Lecturer and Co-Investigator of the 1958 British birth cohort study (NCDS) at the UCL Institute of Education (London). His research interests include documenting and understanding socioeconomic inequalities in health, and the determinants and consequences of other modifiable risk factors for ill health such as physical activity and obesity. The ultimate aim of this work is to provide evidence which can be used to improve population health and its equity across life. David previously worked at the MRC Unit for Lifelong Health and Ageing (London), undertaking ‘life course epidemiology’ research.
